Each pair is handmade in Gaziantep, Turkey, with a buffalo leather sole that molds to your foot, and the shoemaker who made it initials the sole. Flexible enough to tuck into a bag, it’s as good for crossing town as for catching a flight.

Fit tip: Babet sizing runs one number below EU (a Babet 38 fits like a EU 37 / US 7), so choose by your US size in the menu. Expect a snug start, with toes reaching the end, as the soft leather relaxes and forms to your foot. Between sizes? Size down. If you’ve worn women’s Sabahs, take the same size.
